Halloween Graveyard Chocolate Trifles
Makes 8 mini trifles
Prep time: 30 minutes / Chill time: 1 hour
Ingredients
- 3.9 ounce box instant chocolate pudding
- 2 cups milk
- 9×9 pan of brownies, baked and cut into cubes
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 16 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
- Orange food coloring
- 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce
- 10 Oreo cookies, crushed
- 8 Milano cookies
- Black gel icing
- Gummy worms
Instructions
Beat together the chocolate pudding and milk until the powder has dissolved. Allow to rest for 5 minutes, until thickened.
Fold in half the whipped topping.
Spread the cubed brownies in the bottom of each trifle bowl.
Top cubed brownies with hot fudge sauce.
Stir the orange food coloring into the whipped topping and spread evenly over the brownies and hot fudge.
Sprinkle the mini chocolate chips over the top of the whipped topping.
Top the whipped topping layer with pudding mixture.
Sprinkle the crushed Oreos over the top of the pudding layer.
Cover and chill for at least one hour or up to overnight.
When ready to serve, use the black gel icing to write RIP on each Milano cookie.
Press the cookie grave stone into the top of the dessert and decorate with gummy worms on top.
