Make sure the kneed the candy mixture well at each increment in order to mix in the food coloring well.
Add more food coloring until the candy reaches your desired shade of green.

FAQ
Can I use a different type of cookie instead of Biscoff?
Absolutely! While Biscoff adds that signature spiced flavor, you can swap in shortbread, graham crackers, or even ginger snaps for a similar vibe.
Can I use regular green candy melts instead of the tinted ones?
Yes! You can use green candy melts – just keep in mind that the shade of green will be a bit darker and not as bright.
What type of food coloring works best with candy melts?
Oil-based or candy-specific gel food coloring works best, as water-based colors can cause the candy melts to seize or become grainy.
How should I store these Grinch treats?
Keep them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. If it’s warm, store them in the fridge so the candy coating doesn’t melt.
Can I make these ahead of time?
Yes! These cookies hold up beautifully when made a few days in advance—just be sure they’re fully set and stored properly to keep that festive crunch.

Tips & Tricks
- If you’re using oil-based food coloring, keep in mind that it thins out the candy and takes extra time to harden.
- Get creative with toppings: Add a sprinkle of edible glitter or crushed candy canes for extra holiday sparkle.
- Work in batches: Melt your candy coating in small amounts so it stays warm and easy to work with.
- If the piping bag becomes too hot to hold, wear an oven mitt or hold with a paper towel.
So go ahead and channel your inner Grinch—just the fun, cookie-loving version! These Biscoff treats are proof that even the grumpiest holiday heart can be melted with a little sweetness and sparkle. Whether you’re sharing them with friends or hoarding them like Christmas loot, they’re guaranteed to spread cheer (and maybe a few crumbs). Whip up a batch, turn on some festive tunes, and let your kitchen smell like pure holiday magic. After all, Christmas calories don’t count when your heart grows three sizes!
