Allow any excess chocolate to drip off the cookies, then place the cookies on the parchment paper, making sure to give a little space between to allow for space for the chocolate to puddle.

FAQ

Can I use white chocolate instead of almond bark?

Absolutely! White chocolate (or white candy melts) works just as well, though almond bark tends to be a bit easier to work with due to its smoother melting consistency.

How should I store the peppermint dipped Oreos?

Store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer freshness, you can refrigerate them, but be sure to let them come to room temperature before serving for the best texture.

Can I use different types of Oreos?

Definitely! Feel free to experiment with different Oreo flavors like fudge, golden, or even double-stuffed to add a unique twist to your treats.

What if I don’t have crushed peppermint candy?

No problem! You can crush candy canes or peppermint candies yourself using a rolling pin or a food processor. Alternatively, you can use peppermint sprinkles, red and green sprinkles, or even skip the peppermint altogether for a plain dipped version.

Can I make these ahead of time for a party?

Yes, these peppermint dipped Oreos are perfect for making ahead. Just prepare them a day or two before your event and store them in an airtight container to keep them fresh and crunchy.
