Sharing is caring!

If pie and fudge had a baby, this would be it. Imagine buttery pie crust holding sweet, maple-packed fudge like it’s showing off. Then toss in crunchy pecans for that “I’m fancy but still fun” vibe. It’s rich, it’s gooey, and it might just ruin regular pie for you. Warning: people will ask for the recipe, so be ready to share (or don’t, I won’t judge).

FAQ

Can I use homemade pie crust instead of premade?

Yes! A homemade crust will work just as well. Just bake it first so it’s sturdy before adding the fudge layer.

Do I need to bake the fudge layer?

Nope! The fudge sets as it cools, so the only baking is for the pie crust.

How should I store this fudge?

Keep it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze it in layers with parchment paper between pieces.

Can I make this fudge ahead of time?

Absolutely! This recipe is perfect for making a day or two in advance since the flavors get even better as it rests.

Tips & Tricks for the Best Maple Pecan Pie Fudge

  • Toast your pecans before adding them for extra flavor and crunch.
  • Line your pan with parchment paper so the fudge lifts out easily for cutting.
  • Chill before slicing to get clean, neat squares (a sharp knife helps too!).
  • Don’t skip baking the crust – it keeps the base from getting soggy under the fudge.
  • Cut into small pieces – this fudge is rich, so bite-sized squares go a long way.
  • Customize it! Add a sprinkle of sea salt or crushed pretzels on top for a sweet-salty twist.
  • Gift-ready idea: Wrap squares in wax paper or place them in mini cupcake liners for holiday trays.

So there you have it: Maple Pecan Pie Fudge that’s part candy, part pie, and totally irresistible. It’s the kind of treat that makes people think you spent hours in the kitchen (when really, you didn’t). Keep a batch on hand for holidays, parties, or just those random Tuesday cravings. But fair warning: once you share it, you’ll be “the fudge person” forever. Honestly, there are worse titles to have.
